Hey everybody. A little bit about me. I've just recently graduated from college and while I was there I got a new appreciation for being slightly good at math. Growing up I always had those math teachers that basically didn't teach you how to do math and I had to figure it out myself. Since I learned how to teach it to myself, I was able to tutor my friends during their college algebra classes. Formulas and equations are easy for me once I understand them. But if you need geometry help, I'm sorry I'm terrible at it and probably won't be able to help you.
I said that I'm not like normal tutors because I like to have fun while teaching and I'm creative in my tutoring ways. I'm willing to try my best so you learn the material and not hate me or the subject while you do. So I hope to hear from you!
I've taught college level algebra to friends and have taught myself how to do it too. I know the different ways that students learn and I'm willing to work through all the ways to help them learn. I'm also very patient and don't frustrate easily.
I have a lot of patience when it comes to reading and I know some of the best books to help students learn to read from. I make things fun so expect games and great stories to be read!
I like to make things fun and know how to make spelling and vocabulary a game to help you learn. I think what helps me is I had to teach myself when I was growing up and even in college so I know the tricks and how different students learn.
If you think I can help you learn more, please get a hold of me! I have flexible hours and would love to help out. Hey everybody. A little bit about me. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
