Hello! My name is Ginevra, and I am a heart-based and value-driven Guidance Counselor and Holistic Coach. My lifelong purpose is to help young adults and college students succeed in their personal, academic, and professional life. I do so by combining my expertise in time management, SMART Goals setting, test prep, anti-procrastination techniques, public speaking, integrative life coaching, and stress-reduction practices such as yoga and meditation.
I have 7+ years of experience in tutoring and coaching college students and young adults. I focus especially on the International college student population and special needs population such as students with ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities. My tutoring style is caring but strict, and because everyone learns differently, I adjust my style to the needs of each individual student.
I am so passionate about tutoring because it allows me to develop a trusted, 1-1 relationship with my students where I can create a safe space for them to shine their talent, go for what they want, achieve striving results and feeling more confident in life or at school!
I have taught Public Speaking and Storytelling for more than 5 years now. I have trained with Arina Isaacson and within the Toastmasters work-frame. I have coached MBA Business Students at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, within the INSPIRE organization (a network for International College students and spouses in the USA) and at UC Los Angeles. Moreover, I have tutored public speaking and storytelling as a private coach both in person and online for the last 4 years.
My approach to Public Speaking is very holistic and comprehensive. I address the person from a variety of perspectives, from mental roadblocks (the capacity of constructing and holding a coherent story together) to the emotional side (above all, the fear of public speaking!) concluding with somatic work which includes breath work by using the diaphragm, and stress-reduction techniques such as meditation.
I hold a Master's Degree in Guidance a
