uic (Philosophy - Biology)
I hope I can express to you my qualifications as a tutor, and that you will follow through and contact me about becoming your choice of teacher. I've tutored my fellow students at UIC, where I studied several various disciplines.
I helped many people in subjects such as philosophy, biology, and writing. I consistently score top marks on all evaluation metrics including the ACT, SAT, and GRE. I scored 321 on the GRE, a major postgraduate examination. I believe anyone can excel in a topic, and try to help my students find the way they can overcome their barriers. I will gladly help identify the problems blocking my students from understanding their material, and help to overcome them.
With my help, you can pinpoint the issues that are holding you back from comprehension in any of several important topics, including philosophy, the sciences, and writing. I hope that we can establish a strong relationship and achieve your learning goals. I once helped a student in my class understand the material we were going over by meeting after hours and explaining the relevant concepts to him in clearer ways than our instructor had. This helped him to pass an important exam, and the course itself. As your tutor, I would want to bring that same proficiency for teaching to your subjects of interest.
My Qualifications and Accomplishments:
I was an Undergraduate student government member and subcommittee appointee.
I have three years of research experience at a top university. A-B grades in multiple scientific disciplines, such as psychology, biology, and neuroscience.
I have Bachelor's degree qualifications in Philosophy and philosophical writings and a 99th percentile level English comprehension.
Thank you for your time, and I hope we can meet someday. Please contact me anytime for any level of question, and we will determine if I am the right tutor for you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Minor in biology, worked for three years as a biological lab assistant.
