As a basketball trainer, I bring over 30 plus years of experience to the table - being a Member of the 1988 Crenshaw Cougars (CA) basketball team that was rated #1 in the nation - then moving on to play college ball at Cal State LA, leading the CCAA conference in assists and steals my senior year. Upon graduation with a degree in TV/Film, I started my career at the Disney Channel then moved on to become an edit assist, and working freelance for production companies. I was an CTE teacher for 12 years - getting high school students up to speed with Video production. I currently run my own Video Production Service, specializing in Multimedia Support for schools and athletic clubs.
I am an expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro. I have mastered the craft of visual composition and page layouts, logo design, and multimedia presentations. After Effects is used as a tool to create stunning graphics as I have intermediate skills in that area.
I am an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 5,6,7, and 10.2. I hold a BA degree in TV Film from Cal State LA and teach video production courses to high school ROP/CTE students. I have taught Adjunct classes on the Campus of Cal State LA as well as training industry professional on Apple Products and Adobe Applications.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I create multimedia presentation using adobe illustrator for clients who wish to create e-pub documents and electronic newsletters. I was a graphic design instructor for over 7 years, mastering the Adobe Suite of Applications from Adobe CS to its current version, Adobe CC - which is over 10 years of experience. I run a small home based multimedia production company and we use InDesign to create our newsletters, flyers, and promotional content. I have tons of examples to show.
I am a former member of the 1988 Crenshaw High School basketball team in which we were ranked #1 in the Nation (1988) and won the City title that year. Upon high school graduation, I landed a scholarship to play at Cal State University LA - leading the conference in assists and steals my senior season (1993). I currently teach and provide personal training to AAU youth basketball players and run my own scouting service. I film high school / JC games, evaluate players, and create video resumes for those seeking to get a "look" from scouts. I filmed over 120 high school basketball games alone last year.
I am an Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro 5,6,7,and 10.2 - having years of experience using the Apple / Macintosh platform. In addition, I created the first Apple Education School at LAUSD - teaching students on Mac computers the basics through advanced features of the computer and editing software. I have been using Mac's before they were "cute and sexy' spanning numerous software releases from Leopard to El Capitan.
I am a sports photographer, capturing the moments of student athletes. I have mastered the exposure triangle and shooting with DSLR cameras. I run my own Sports Photography company where I provided players with action shots after games and print on the spot!
I hold a BA degree in TV Film and have over 10 years of industry related experience. In addition, I hold a MultiMedia Teaching Credential from the CTC that allows me to teach adults as well as high school students in grades k-12. I am a former CTE Multimedia Instructor at the high school level for 12 years.
