“**Very Knowledgeable Tutor**”

I have been tutoring in the Los Angeles area for the past ten years in math and science at all levels. I am a UCLA graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, and currently working on my Master of Science in Physics at CSUN, and plan to continue my graduate studies, and obtain my PhD in Physics after the completion of my Master. I have the

Sina was a great tutor for me. I had difficulties with Calculus I & II and he helped me learn many methods that class did not teach me to solve problems. He listened very well and was able to solve even the most difficult problems. He was very good at diagnosing my weak spots and helping me while staying supportive when I made my errors.

The hardest part of my class was understanding trig proofs using limits. He was able to take them apart and make them less complex for the sake of my understanding.

My son had a Great tutoring session with Sina . We ll be happy to continue. He exlained in great details each example and even found extra problems to solve.

Thank you!

Sina continues to be an excellent tutor in both AP Calculus and Pre Calculus for our son. Best tutor ever!

He helped me with my honors calculus class and is the reason I was able to keep my grade up enough that my school is letting me continue in the high honors math track next year! Even if I hadn't done any homework for the entire unit, meeting with him the day before a unit test pretty much always ensured I would get a near-perfect score. Highly recommend Sina as a math tutor and plan on meeting with him for my physics course next year.

I was thrilled to find Sina, not only is he extremely knowledgeable but he was able to relate to my 14-year-old grandson and actually motivate him. He is also very flexible because my grandsons schedule varies from time to time and Sina finds a way to make it work. Most importantly his grades have improved.

Sina is excellent at presenting the material. My high school daughter is thrilled to be able to understand the work and looks forward to working with him.

Sina is very thorough and provided test preparation questions for my son to get ready for mid term. Very useful.

Sina took the time to get to know my child a bit and what she was learning. It was nice to see a tutor take their time and figure out how their student learns.

He helped with a wave equation, for one. He worked hard as a tutor with me. Helped me study for a final and get tough long homework done.

Sina is an excellent tutor with a broad range of knowledge. He's patient and knows everything there is to know about the upper level sciences! He's been tutoring my brother with AP Chemistry for a while now and it has made a great improvement in his grades at school. Thank you, Sina!

Sina has been a great asset for our son's knowledge. He is very patient, detailed and we have seen great results based on his tutoring skills for SAT exams for our son.

I have referred to two other friends just recently as finding a great tutor with both knowledge and patience and care is a true challenge for a caring parent.

Sina is also very prompt with his communication and scheduling of the times.

Thank you Sina!!!

When my son started having trouble in Calculus, I hired Sina to tutor him. So glad that I did!!

Sina explained everything in depth, was patient and answered all of his questions.

Sina is a true professional. He is patient, understanding, prompt, and knows his subject. The help I needed him for was college, not high school level physics. He was able to help me study for tests and with my homework, that is, figure it out and help explain it, not do it for me. I am certain that his professionalism would be the same for students younger that I am. I highly recommend him.

Sina has tutored both of my children in math (Geometry and Algebra II) and science (Chemistry and Physics) for about one year. Thanks to Sina's help, both of my children have received high grades in these subjects. Sina always puts in extra effort to make sure they understand the concepts, but above and beyond this, helps them with their science projects. My son is taking Applied Physics this year, and has had to build a ping pong ball launcher and two musical instruments. Not only did Sina help him with the mathematics involved in designing these projects, he also helped my son actually BUILD the projects. As a single mother with minimal mechanical ability, I was extremely grateful that Sina was willing to roll up his sleeves and help with the construction of these projects. I highly recommend Sina as both a science and mathematics tutor.

Math:

ACT Math,
Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taught ACT-math to many students, and prepared them for the exam. I have graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Physics. As a result, ACT-math is something I am capable of handling.

I took Algebra 1 after prealgebra and this class prepared me to take further math classes. I studied polynomials and their behavior including different division methods involving in them.

I have had Algebra back in high school. I have tutored many students in Algebra with different backgrounds. I have a B.S. in Physics from UCLA with 10 years of tutoring experience.

I have a B.S. in Physics from UCLA and 10 years of tutoring experience.

Since my major was Physics at UCLA, chemistry was a requirement. I have worked with many students in Chemistry. I have extensive experience in both theory and experiments in Chemistry.

Differential equations was a required subject for me to complete my degree in theoretical Physics at UCLA. As a physicist, I have encountered many forms of differential equations in my subject area. Many problems in Physics involve solving complex differential equations. I am very competent in solving them. I have tutored some students in differential equations, and have had great results.

I have taken finite math at UCLA during my undergrad studies. I have done extensive linear programming using the simplex method taught in the finite math class to do research in vortex and turbulence fluid mechanics in soft condensed matter physics. I have used concepts from other topics such as matrices which are covered in finite math class in my quantum mechanics classes as well. I have also used the logic chapter of finite math to design logic circuits. Overall, I am very proficient in the material covered in the finite math class.

Since I have studied Physics at UCLA, Geometry is one of those subjects that I have constantly been exposed to. I have worked with many people in Geometry. The key is to make the subject understandable for the student, so They can get a sense of visualizing the geometrical objects.

I prepared for the GMAT exam when I was planning to get into an MBA program. I have reviewed all sections in details through prep books. The math covered in GMAT is basic since I graduated in sciences.

I have prepared extensively for GRE exam and taken it already scoring within the 92nd percentile in math. I studied the GRE general exam through textbooks.

I have taken Linear Algebra back in college as it is a requirement for students who want to study Physics. At UCLA where I studied Physics, we used many concepts such as linear combinations, groups, and vector spaces to attack problems in Physics. I have tutored some of my students in Linear Algebra, and I am very familiar with the concepts.

My degree is in theoretical Physics from UCLA. As a result, I have taken many courses in Quantum Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Classical Mechanics. I have tutored in these areas to numerous students. Physics is my specialty.

I had taken Prealgebra back in middle school. I studied elementary equations and how to handle them.

I took precalculus in high school as a prerequisite of my calculus class. We studied basic functions and their behavior in that class. I have extensive experience working with functions and their analysis.

I have tutored SAT math to many clients, and prepared them for the exam. I have graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Physics. I have studied advanced mathematics, and my students have had great results in SAT math.

I took statistics in college since as a physics major, and a profound knowledge of statistics and probability was needed to take quantum mechanics at the junior and senior level.

I have taken Trig back in high school. As I studied theoretical Physics, I have encountered many trig problems. I have also tutored several people in trig. My degree is in Physics from UCLA.
