I did some tutoring while in high school and also helped out in the special education classroom during high school. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BS in Neuroscience in June 2013 and I am currently a graduate student in Pharmacology at UC Davis. I have tutored in precalc, algebra 2 and biology already through WyzAnt, and I am certified to tutor up through calculus. I am available most evenings and would like to help others to be as excited about these subjects as I am. Thanks for considering me.

Matthew is doing an awesome job teaching my son Algebra I. He is now completing his course with confidence and accuracy.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I am a graduate student majoring in pharmacology at UC Davis. While an undergrad at UCSC, I took courses in pharmacology and toxicology. In my first quarter at UC Davis I took the first graduate level course in pharmacology and toxicology. I have had many courses in biology, physiology, biochemistry, and chemistry, all of which are prerequisites for pharmacology.
