My love of sports comes from playing multiple sports as a child. From Baseball to Street Hockey and several others in between, loving to play the game and enjoying helping others to learn to play makes the game enjoyable. Along with a love of sports and instructing sports, I completed my Workforce Education and Development degree, Magna Cum Laude. With a passion for teaching, I enter my fifteenth consecutive year of teaching elementary school children Sunday school.
Over the years, I have incorporated various techniques of teaching adults and children the fundamentals in a unique way bringing fun to the learning experience. From playing baseball from Little League to high school. I have experience coaching adult men and women in softball from California to Georgia to the United Kingdom. I coached adult women’s softball for thirteen years, taking several teams to regional playoffs. I Coached youth soccer, coached youth in AWANA competitions and coached basketball. Fitness is very important, also played a role with the basketball team winning the United States Air Force in Europe championship as the trainer. More recently, I was awarded the Willie McCovey Award as the Most Inspirational Player for the San Francisco Giants Fantasy Camp.
The most rewarding part of teaching is seeing the smile on a person’s face who has improved their game over a length of time. My task is to find the talent in someone and improve it. Sometimes the technique involves mental approaches as well. Keeping the client interested in learning is vitally important. I strive to bring out the best in my students in a healthy, safe environment. If my clients are not satisfied neither am I. I consider feedback from the client and parties of the client valuable.
Flexibility is a key to learning. Any cancelations can be made up. Please consider adequate cancellation time if possible. Lesson locations can vary depending upon the type of lesson scheduled. We can discuss locations if needed. Please consider to hold most workouts at a public place such as the library, public field or indoor public facility. The best location for the client is always the best option.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
