I am a native Mandarin speaker and familiar with both Simplified and Traditional characters. I have been teaching Mandarin over 15 years. Chinese culture is a main content I use while introducing language to my students. I like to include in my lessons technology for sharing news, playing games, writing assignments, typing and improving speaking skills.
Teaching has always been my passion and interest in my life. I have many Mandarin teaching experiences across Asian and American learners in the classroom and in one on one tutoring. By the end of the semester, he earned a B for his second semester, and he was able to stay until he graduated.

This was my very first drawing lesson, and Amy did a great job of initiating me into the world of drawing.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
