I have been meeting weekly with Alicia for six weeks and am very pleased with my progress. She is organized and prepared with instructional materials, but also responds well to my priorities for learning. She has a gift of connecting personally and making learning fun.

Alicia is turning on light bulbs for my daughter and thankful for her time and patience. She goes above and beyond bringing extra handouts for them to work on together.
I liked Alicia the moment she walked into my house for our first lesson. She is personable, organized, and obviously loves teaching. I look forward to our tutoring sessions!
I'm so glad I met Marcella. She is always very attentive, intelligent, eager to learn Spanish, and very responsible with their study and work. She also motivates me prepare very good classes. I hope I can help her in whatever she needs to learn. It has been a nice experience to teach her.
I have been taking weekly Spanish lessons with Alicia for one month and am very satisfied with my experience. In just a month I have refreshed my knowledge of almost everything I had learned a few years ago in a college level Spanish 1 class. Alicia is great at tailoring her lessons to meet your personal goals and skill level. She is very friendly and professional and her lessons are fun and interesting. After struggling for years to stay motivated to try and learn Spanish on my own, I think I have finally found the right motivation and feedback I need to reach this goal. I would highly recommend Alicia as a Spanish tutor.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
