I studied anthropology as an undergraduate student as part of an elective program. I tutored fellow college students in the subject matter. I was invited to join an excavation in Nicaragua by a fellow in the anthropology department at Florida State University. I freelanced educational tours at the Giza step to tourists explaining the structure, symbolism, purpose, and method of construction of the pyramids. Tours included a lesson in the socio-political conditions and culture of Egyptian society at the time of construction as evidenced by archaeological finds.

I have nearly a decade of experience teaching a variety of foreign languages including Arabic, that latter of which I developed fluency from a young age. I am familiar wth Egyptian, Levantine, & Gulf dialects including Modern Standard Variety.

My written request, one of many, for a grant succeeded in awarding funds to Sarasota School of Arts & Sciences; where I taught Social Studies in 2002-2003.
