My mission is to guide students to learn how to learn, empowering them to thrive in school and life. Since 2007, I've had the opportunity to teach hundreds of bright students who have struggled with the challenges of studying, test-taking, and time management skills. I also enjoy mentoring students pursuing screenwriting and creative writing by teaching best practices drawn from my 13 years of experience in the film industry.

My successful students include:
- An 8th grader who overcame living as a frustrated girl with ADHD by discovering she had her own superpower of thinking in unique ways. We worked together for four years, and in 2017, she gained early admission to her dream college where she'll study film and recording arts.

- A junior who missed over 30 days of school due to a rare illness, forcing him to stop playing soccer as he faced a mountain of make-up tests. We designed an action plan for his ACT, AP exams, and college app essays until he earned admission to Fordham University.

My unique approach combines high-performance study skills with time management, mindfulness, and growth mindset techniques. These are the keys to living a rewarding life of achievement - and less stress. With my guidance, my students have earned admission to schools such as Stanford, Cal Berkeley, Boston College, USC, Claremont Graduate University, and UCLA (my alma mater).

My experience includes teaching year-long study skills and test prep classes; creating nonprofit tutoring programs for underserved students; and privately tutoring children with diagnoses such as auditory processing disorder. I've trained as an SAT/ACT instructor, authored several test prep programs, and completed the master tutor training program at El Camino College, where I earned scholarships and life science department awards.

I look forward to being of service!
