University of California, Merced (Management)
I am a graduate of University of California, Merced in Management with a Literature minor.
I am bilingual in English and Chinese(Mandarin) and prefer a hands on approach in helping students understand and improve their subjects. I'm friendly and willing to provide as much assistance and adjustments necessary to accommodate all students to the best of both party's abilities succeed. The tutoring methods are adjusted to each individual student to try and help them learn the subject(s) to their full potential given different learning styles.
Explanations of subjects are very straight-forward with an analytical approach to be able to dissect and address the issues giving the students trouble. I have helped students at the college level with their writing abilities and improve their grades. This was achieved by reviewing previous papers with the students to point out the places for improvement and the reasoning for future papers. Learning approach is to understand the material rather than rote memorization (except when necessary). Hourly rates are not set in stone, and are negotiable to families with special needs as well as a flexible schedule to accommodate students.
I look forward to hearing from you and being of assistance to you in your success. I am a graduate of University of California, Merced in Management with a Literature minor.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
