I'm horrible at chemistry and he really did a great job explaining and answering all my questions :) Very nice and intelligent man.

My daughter has been tutored by Noel for two plus years now. He's the most intelligent and patient person we've ever met. He tutored my daughter in algebra 2, geometry, chemistry and trigonometry. My daughter is not the easiest person to get along with, but Noel has the patience and knows how to explain things to her clearly. Extremely smart, organized, punctual and professional. I couldn't wish for a better professor to tutor my daughter. Definitely five stars!

Noel helped me understand my calculus lessons. He can always just sit down and explain the subject matter. He doesn't need to think about it, he knows how to do it. We covered 4 lessons in one hour.

Noel reminded me there are some things that just should be committed to memory for this level of math. It was good to have a review. I completed most of my homework for the week and feel good about doing the remainder on my own. I think this will be a good weekly help.

He explained things so my daughter could understand. Wish we had found him sooner. Will give her a stronger understanding for her upcoming semester of Chemistry.

Absolutely a great tutor consistent, punctual and very knowledgeable, I always get a tutor for my daughter to prepare her for the following year and Noel did that my daughter breezed through Geometry thanks to Noel.

Noel helped my daughter bring her Chemistry grade up two whole grades. Not only is Noel an expert in this field, he knows how to teach it and make sure it's understood. I was amazed at how quickly my daughter's understanding of this complicated subject improved only after a few sessions with Noel. She actually "gets" Chemistry now.

Noel is a true professional and a great tutor. Highly recommended.

Noel taught me several sections of Calculus. At certain times in the session I wouldn't understand how he came to a specific conclusion, so he would solve and teach me in several other ways until I fully grasped the material.

Noel is a great teacher for my son. He teaches Chemistry & Math this year. My son really like him & his teaching skills. He raised his grade.

Thank you so much Noel.

Noel assisted my daughter with Chemistry -H & Algebra II/Trig-H. Typically during finals my daughter and I are both be stressed out about the work load and material she needs to cover in order to ace her tests. With Noel's help, she was far more prepared and confident during her finals. In addition, her test results have shown improvement since working with Noel. Noel has a way of teaching that makes the material make sense, and is able to cover a lot of material within each session. My daughter is grateful that she has the support of someone who isn't just a tutor but a great teacher! I am grateful that my daughter's grades are up and her stress level is down! Thanks Noel! See you for Pre-Calc next year :)

Noel is an excellent tutor. He is very patient and kind. No matter your learning level he can adapt. I believe I have ADHD and have a hard time staying on topic. He was able to jump around with with me and teach me chemistry. I would recommend him to anyone any age.

My daughter took Calculus AB lesson from Noel. Although his PHD is in Chemistry, he was extremely good in Math as well. He was punctual and professional. We liked his tutorship very much and would recommend him to anyone who is in need of a private tutor.

My daughter attends CSUN and had to pass a mandatory Math class to continue enrollment. Noel was extremely helpful. He was very patient and knew exactly how to assist my daughter. Noel was also very reliable, always doing his best to work with our schedule. We highly recommend him. She passed her mandatory Math class, and we have Noel to thank.

Noel tutored my son in AP Chemistry during the past school year. When he first started, my son's grade was a D. But, with his help during the school year, my son raised his grade all the way up to an A! Noel was always prompt for weekly lessons, and was also patient in explaining the chemistry concepts to my son. I highly recommend Noel to anyone who wants to learn AP Chem and maximize his/her potential.

My daughter never gives me much warning when she needs help. I have had to contact Noel last minute on several occasions. He is extremely flexible and gets straight to the point for both math and chemistry.

I was at the end of my rope after trying other tutors for my son. He was failing his Pre Calc class. When Noel arrived, I explained to Noel that my son had a test the following day and gave him the study guide to review with my son. I would have been happy with him just passing the test, and today my son not only passed, he called me right after school and told me he received a B+ on the test! Best Christmas gift I could have received this year. My son is very comfortable with Noel and Noel explains the subject at hand in a way that the student relates to. Gracious, professional, patient, caring and a wealth of knowledge in the subject. Thank you Noel!!!

Noel helped my son recover his grade in AP Chemistry. My son was having difficulties in his AP Chemistry class and was pulling a "D". We contacted WyzAnt and chose Noel to be his tutor. Noel is a subject matter expert in Chemistry and was able to help my son pull his final grade up to a "B". Thanks Noel.

Noel is an absolutely fantastic tutor. Anyone would be lucky to have him as a tutor for Chemistry. He is really helping my daughter.

Noel is very punctual, respectful and interested in the subject matter he teaches. He seems to have found a way to go over complex ideas with students so that they are now able to understand it. My son's grades have improved since working with Noel and for that we are grateful.

Noel did an amazing job helping my son study for the math portion of his ACT. Although my son is a great student and scored a wonderful composite score on his ACT of 32, he was let down a little by only getting a 25 on the math portion. Noel worked with him for about 6 hourly sessions at a local library which was very convenient and my son felt totally comfortable and enjoyed the sessions. His most recent ACT test scores came in this morning and he raised his score on the math section from a 25 to a 30!!!!! This is the boost that could change the colleges he can now choose from and his academic future, can't thank Noel enough!!

Noel has been a real lifesaver for my student. He was very close to failing Geometry last year but thanks to Noel's help he brought his grade up to a "C" in only 5 weeks. We are using Noel again this year for algebra 2.

Noel is very patient and seems to know just where the student is struggling so that he can focus on the particular area that needs reinforcing. My student is doing well in his math course presently but we know that Noel will be available whenever needed. So happy to have found Noel through WyzAnt. Thank You for all your help.

Great guy, knowledgeable on subject! I would say the most important issue is the meshing of the minds to get the best understanding of the material for the clients needs.

My daughter did not think that she could tutor with this subject on line, Noel has come in and proved her wrong and she loves it. Mr. Noel is a patient man and considerate of situations and my daughter says that he is very knowledgeable of Organic Chemistry. Thank you Mr. Noel.

Noel has been an excellent tutor for our 10th grade aged son. Our son's chemistry grades started to fall suddenly! With Noel's assistance our son was able to raise his grade to above the class average. I am most pleased. On another note Noel is most professional. Arriving on time and being prepared. I will use Noel again if the need arises.

Noel is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Always on time. An incredible ability to teach a very difficult subject. Thank you Noel for all your help.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have taken several advanced courses in mathematics at the college level, and I have tutored high school level math in the past as well. I am qualified to tutor the areas of math that appear on the ACT exam, including algebra and trigonometry. Finally, I have taken and scored highly on both the SAT and GRE, particularly the math sections.

I earned a B.S. degree in chemistry from Harvey Mudd College in 1997, but my coursework also included several math courses, including multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. These experiences, combined with my educational background, make me well qualified to tutor chemistry.

I have tutored high school level math courses while I was in college and would be happy to tutor elementary math as well. In many respects, elementary math is the most important type of math to learn, as more advanced math builds upon it.

During my undergraduate education at Harvey Mudd College, I took several advanced math courses, including linear algebra and multivariable calculus. I also tutored local high school students in math and science. Geometry is a key component to the SAT and GRE (used for admission to graduate school) exams, and I scored very high on both exams in the math section.

I took the General GRE and attained a high score in all three sections (verbal, analytical, and math) before I applied to graduate school. In addition, I have an extensive background in math, having taken several advanced courses in college. This would help me to tutor GRE math in particular. I also have tutored students recently in math subjects like geometry which are on this exam.
