I am a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the academic growth and development of every learner, whether child or adult. I am an accommodating and versatile individual with the talent to develop inspiring hands-on lessons that will breed success. I have the aptitude to remain flexible, ensuring that every student’s learning styles and abilities are addressed. I possess superior interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful relationships with students, and parents as the occasion warrants. I have demonstrated the ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on each student's needs and interests.

I am committed to the highest standard of professional ethics and the standards of practice. I am a self-directed, action-oriented professional with over 20 years of experience in education and community service. I possess proven abilities in problem solving, people management and motivation. I describe myself as a self-starter with high energy enabling maximum and efficient work under pressure. I am also very accustomed to working in a multicultural environment that emphasizes inclusion.

I am an enthusiastic, committed educator with innate ability to understand and motivate both children and adults. I work to create a cooperative community in the classroom as well as on a one-on-one basis with a student. I am very skilled in adapting to students' diverse learning styles.

I embrace teaching as an opportunity to inspire and empower the students who enter into my classroom. The ultimate goal of my teaching philosophy is to enhance student learning as a transformative experience. I try to find ways for my students to become more personally engaged with the all the learning materials and to understand how the specific subject matter is directly relevant to their own lives. Constantly gaining greater understanding of the wide diversity of learning styles and personal experiences is the key to enhancing this relationship of learning and the individual student’s life journey.

Over the years I have discovered that the process of learning is a complex process, which is individual, content and context specific. As a teacher, I pay attention to all these factors and work hard to be flexible in each new teaching/learning environment, striving to adapt my approach to teaching according to the needs of the current group of learners, the specific subject matter, and the environmental setting. I believe that it is crucial for teachers to cultivate learning partnerships with students. This learning partnership is a two-way proposition. The student’s part of the proposition is to come prepared to learn, and my part is to create an interactive environment that engages the student in the learning process.

I am a seasoned instructor in the areas of history, especially in the areas of American history, as well as European history from ancient Greece to modern times. I have experience in teaching subjects in business, math through algebra, economics, English, writing, composition, philosophy, social studies, art history, and college counseling. I am an Adjunct Professor for Tiffin University and for Brandman University in the university programs of Management, MBA, Human Resource Management, Organizational Leadership, and Organizational Development.

Excellent Tutor, Highly recommend

Professor P is an excellent tutor, I highly recommend him. My daughter has improved and raised her grade thanks to his effective way of teaching. He is able to captivate her interest in the subject by teaching in a story telling matter. He brings the history to life. He also is very resourceful in providing her with big amounts of efficient reading material, maps, videos, and pictures. He genuinely cares about transmitting all his knowledge to his student.
