Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I member of the Stanford Law School class of 2024. I graduated summa cum laude from Amherst College with a double major in History and Spanish. At Amherst, I was a member of the club soccer team and a Spanish tutor. I am passionate about education and writing, and I am a huge fan of the U.S. Women's Soccer Team.

I have been tutoring students in Spanish, History, and Writing since I was a sophomore in high school. I started tutoring the LSAT during my senior year of college. My favorite part of tutoring has always been watching students become more confident in their own abilities.

On Wyzant, my primary tutoring focus is LSAT preparation. I have developed methods to help with accuracy and speed on every section. For analytical reasoning, I teach four diagrams that can be used to help visualize the passage and answer any question. While teaching the diagrams, I also give students tips and tricks that help them to answer questions faster. For logical reasoning, I show students a four-step process that helps them to identify what the question is asking, eliminate wrong answers, and find the correct answer based on the question. In reading comprehension, I focus on a targeted reading strategy that helps students to find the important information in the passage their first time reading it, which helps to save time and improves accuracy. I then focus on different question types, and give students information on what they should be looking for based on the question type.

After meeting with a student, I always personalize my lessons to the student's prior experiences and knowledge, and I only focus on the strategies that work well for the student.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you are interested in scheduling a lesson. I look forward to meeting you!

Simply the best

Over the last two months Rebecca has not only been patient but displays amazing teaching skills throughout each lesson. She kept me focused and calm in times when I panicked (Leading up to my first LSAT). She kept records of each section on a particular test that we completed and was sure to focus on those that I was lacking on. I am awaiting my results from my LSAT now and would not only recommend her to everyone, but I myself would definitely use her again to perhaps increase my score on a second attempt of the test. 10/10!

Amazing tutor !

Rebecca was a very patient tutor. She knows how to point out what you need to improve on and makes you very feel comfortable and confident. In the 3 months that I tutored with her for the LSAT, she taught me many things that helped me improve my score with my test. Any questions I had I never hesitated to ask her. She is very knowledgeable and wants you to do well. She pushed me hard to find the confidence I needed in order to succeed. She is the best tutor !!

Knowledgeable and amazing tutor

Rebecca started with me from square one where I didn’t even know how to answer one logic game question. Now, I am able to get through game set ups, work through the questions and come to correct answers. Without her, I literally wouldn’t be able to get to where I am today. I am very thankful for our lessons together!!!!

Knowledgeable and patient

I took my fist class with Rebecca and it went great! She was able to go over the reading passages and questions step by step. She taught me how to properly look for essential details which the questions Target. Her technique was so effective, that when I took my weekly LSAT practice test I score more correct answers than before! Definitely worth it!

Very knowledgeable and a natural teacher

Rebecca is super knowledgeable, and I was impressed by her skills as a teacher. I learned a lot! She used immersion instruction which is scientifically validated as the best way to learn a new language. I felt challenged and excited, and I came away knowing new words and grammar.

She helped me understand diagrams . She encouraged my progress. She has a natural gift for teaching

She helped me understand diagrams when it comes to LSAT Logic games. I intentionally had three different teachers in the last two days. I was looking for certain qualities and thier ability to connect with my dominate learning modality. Rebecca immediately knew what worked best for me. She is very professional. She is a teacher by trade , so tutoring is not a past time for her, she cares about students and truly wants you to learn. If you are looking for a LSAT tutor, I just spent the money and took the work out of your search. I have a Masters Degree in Christian Education and multiple intellegence is my specialty . Rebecca is a teacher indeed!
