About Alex

***Accepting Summer Students -- Bay Area Availability through beginning of September and again at end of September!***

Having graduated at the top of my class in high school and having matriculated to Stanford University and am now a rising senior, I am confident in my ability in a number of academic subjects, namely math. I took some of the most challenging math courses offered in school district, including AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics, and did very well in both and made 5s on their respective AP Exams. Additionally, I am quite adept in the world of sciences having taken science courses from AP Environmental Science to AP Biology to AP Physics C. My adeptness and interest in mathematics and sciences reflects itself in my pursuit of an Energy Resources Engineering degree at Stanford.

I am a very amiable person and an extremely tolerant one as well. There is no need to worry that your learning pace would be too slow -- I am more than thrilled to walk you through a concept as long as it takes for you to achieve master comprehension. Additionally, I would be more than happy to pass along study tips or tricks.

As a former high school student myself, I understand first hand the difficulties and nuances of primary and secondary education - the need to achieve and the desire to beat out everyone else. However, such desire should not trample the need to get substance out of your learning -- and that's what I would like to instill.

Whatever way there is to get you to find value and solidarity in your learning, I would do my absolute best to uncover such a path!

Huge improvement with his help

I studied with the help of Alex for one semester and saw a drastic change in performance after his lessons. My performance during the first semester of 10th grade was constantly at a borderline C-. My test results always came up dismally low and I was worried I would have to lane down. With the 2nd half of the school year I opted to stay in my course but enlist a tutor's help and I came across Ale
