About Robert

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Computational and Theoretical Chemistry at Stanford University. I graduated from Binghamton University in 2013, where I double majored in Chemistry and Math. I graduated at the top of my class, with a GPA of 3.85 and was in many honors societies, including Phi Beta Kappa. Before beginning my PhD, I spent one year in Florence, Italy on a Fulbright Research Fellowship to conduct chemistry research.

I have tutored many students over the past 7 years for middle school, high school, and college level courses in chemistry, physics, and math. I have tutored for many AP and IB courses as well as standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests. Additionally, I have been a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, and Organic Chemistry at Stanford University.

I am quite flexible in my tutoring methods and enjoy finding new ways to approach problems in math and science, as these subjects can always been taught from a variety of different perspectives.

If you have any questions about my academic background, tutoring experience, tutoring style, or any other inquiries, please don't hesitate to send me a message.

Thanks.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Differential Equations

I have taken differential equations and partial differential equations at Binghamton University, obtaining grades of A and A-, respectively. I have also tutored a student at Binghamton University in differential equations.

Linear Algebra

I have taken linear algebra at Binghamton University, obtaining an A in the course. I have also tutored students in linear algebra.

MCAT

I majored in both chemistry and math at Binghamton University, where I graduated with a 3.85 GPA in my majors. I will be starting my PhD at Stanford in Theoretical Chemistry, which is a combination of math, physics, and chemistry. I am the perfect candidate to tutor for the physical sciences section of the MCAT, for which I am currently tutoring a student privately. I have tutored students in physical chemistry, introductory chemistry, and introductory physics in addition to tutoring a student for the Physics SAT Subject Test.

Regents

I just graduated from Binghamton University, majoring in chemistry and mathematical sciences with a 3.85 GPA in my majors. I will be starting my PhD in Theoretical Chemistry at Stanford. I have tutored students in high school and college courses in math, physics, and chemistry and am adept in tutoring these subjects for the Regents. My scores on the Regents are as follows:
Math A: 99, Math B: 98, Chemistry: 98, Physics: 98. I also received a 5 on the following AP Exams: Calculus BC, Chemistry, Physics B, Statistics
