I have over 20 years' experience in teaching the Arabic language and culture to college and university students, government and private institutions. I designed a year-round Arabic intensive course that ran for seven years. In the course, students registered with no knowledge of Arabic and finished the course with an advanced level. Arabic is my native tongue and I have been teaching the language to adult learners for over 24 years. My experience covers teaching in academia, government and private colleges and universities. I have also been certified as an oral proficiency tester in Arabic by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, though not currently active. As well, I have conducted numerous oral proficiency interviews for government employees using government language skill levels.
