I have a deep appreciation for Math because Math is the language of science. Math is a great venue for understanding how our world functions. Math is nothing to be intimidated about. It is nothing but a set of rules and once a student understands the rules, then math opens up a whole new world of opportunities. Understanding Math also allows students to gain confidence in their academic abilities.
I have a Master's degree in molecular biology and I have taught high school science (AP Biology and Honors Chemistry) for over 20 years. I am very familiar with the AP/IB Exam format and how to prepare students to do well on the exam.
