Bio

Freshly graduated from Berklee in Boston, I am dying to share my knowledge all the while putting it to good use. I feel like teaching is the best way to reorganize and deepen my own understanding of a subject.

I have taught guitar at different levels in Italian and English for a few years before moving, all experience levels are welcome. I will do my best to accommodate for what you want to learn when it comes to the other musical subjects, more information in the qualifications...

I was born and raised in Italy until I moved to the US about four years ago. I love speaking and learning new languages and am well versed in English and Spanish as well.
I like to make it fun and give insight on the culture as well, teaching useful typical phrases and how to navigate resources such as verbs conjugations.
Bring your homework and essays or just sheer interest and we'll make it happen!

I passed all four levels of Ear Training at Berklee with an A and really love the subject, it can really shape the way you play any instrument and conceive the music in your head.
My engineering and production mentors include several Grammy Award winners, all very inspiring people who patiently taught me how to spot what it is you appreciate about music and incorporate it where needed.

Feel free to come forth with any DAW, recording, editing, mixing, producing, arranging and beatmaking-related questions. My specialty styles are Pop, Hip-Hop, RnB and Funk but I listen to just about anything.

Bring your favorite songs and we'll take them apart!

If need be, my house is a quiet and welcoming place to learn in and I am in the process of building a studio with my roommates for lessons in the near future.

Music Production

As for the engineering bit, I was taught the physics behind architectural acoustics and everything you might need to know about analog and digital signal flow, analog and digital consoles, microphones (architecture and placement techniques) and studio equipment with lots of hands-on experience. As for the production bit, the coursework focused initially on critical listening of hits throughout the past century and then transitioned to completing projects of my own with/without studio musicians, singers, writers and arrangers. As of today music is mainly "in the box" and I mainly work that way, making instrumentals and beats on my computer and working with top-liners and rappers in person or remotely.

Corporate Training

Italian,

Italian

I was born and raised in Italy for the first 20 years of my life and know English well enough to understand the difficulties one might have learning my language.
Spanish

Spanish

It took me four years of high school and two semesters abroad in Spain to become fluent, even though being a native Italian speaker sure made it easier.

Music

Ear Training,

Ear Training

Hate to boast, but Ear Training was my forte at Berklee. I know several ways to visualize intervallic relations or melodic lines but can help you devise your own. We were taught to recognize anything from simple exercises to bebop solos.
Guitar,

Guitar

I started playing guitar at the age of five and quickly transitioned to electric (acoustics welcome!), became part or front of several projects as lead or rhythm guitarist. I played many gigs in various styles and a couple festivals ("Balla Coi Cinghiali" in Italy, "Musaico" in Spain). At Berklee, I passed with top grades all the four required levels of private instruction and experimented with ensembles of different styles. My specialties are Funk, Blues, Reggae and RnB but I can help you out with other styles and techniques as well. I taught beginner to intermediate-level students in Italian and English for three years.
