I was a tutor for more than a year at San Diego Mesa College. I tutored biology, chemistry and math. what i enjoy about being a tutor is the fact that I`m helping others getting better at it. I believe that no body is born smart and know everything and also people ability to learn new subject is different so I try my best to help them understand the idea in their own with a little help from me.

I graduated from SDSU with a degree in biology (emphasis in cellular and molecular biology) so I can tutor chemistry, ecology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, general biology, marine mammals, physiology, virology and more.
My schedule is a little weird because I work in the morning but starting at 2PM up to 6 I`m available. weekends will work fine to me as long as we`re meeting in the afternoon or maybe early morning, and if the student have a special need or specific time to meet then i can work things up to find the best time for him/her and for myself.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
