Hello, I am Vikranth and I go by Vik. Originally from India, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a minor in Robotics. I always liked building things and learning in the process. Robotics is an intriguing field to be in right now, and it wasn't a hard decision for me to pursue my Masters in Robotics. While attending undergraduate school, I tutored for freshmen when I was a junior, and became a teaching assistant in my senior year. In grad school, I was a teaching assistant for 5 consecutive semesters (4 regular and one summer) teaching fundamental and advanced topics in machine design and robotics.
In my opinion, one can arrive at solution(s) for a problem in multiple ways. Strong fundamentals are always the key and my approach to tutoring has always been to start and strengthen from the basics. I noticed that in many cases, some simple, related examples can motivate the understanding of a concept that might seem hard to crack. Given these basic approaches that I follow, I am always open for feedback and flexible in adjusting my teaching methods based on the depth of subject and one's individual needs.

I would like to call my sessions as interactions rather than teaching sessions.
