Hi! Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. Let me tell you a little bit about myself to help you decide whether or not I'm the right tutor for you.

I'm a high school English teacher in Campbell, where I started my teaching career seventeen years ago. I teach primarily 10th and 11th grade literature, but I have also taught 9th grade and ELD (a.k.a. ESL). My two greatest passions as a teacher are helping kids to discover a love of literature and teaching kids how to be effective, eloquent writers.

Before I was a teacher, I was also a reading/writing tutor at a clinic for students with learning disabilities. In addition, throughout college I was a nanny for a family with three young children, two of whom had learning disabilities, and one of my primary responsibilities was to help them with their school work.
