I have a PhD from the University of Georgia. I have experience teaching in France and the Caribbean, as well as several states in the U.S., and can help you to achieve your goals in education, whether it be through mastery of French Language and Literature, or just English and Composition! I am very approachable, and very comfortable discussing and exploring a wide range of issues, from current events and environmental concerns, to specifics of literary, film and image analysis. I encourage students to take a step back from their perceptions of the world and to assess other opinions. I do this in the goal of resetting their perspectives within a context of critical thinking and understanding. My end goal is to empower students to think for themselves and contextualize their arguments with the appropriate research and documentation so that they can achieve success in their academic efforts, and beyond.
