Hi and welcome. I wish you the best in finding an educational assistant that best serves you. I have the great privilege of being an elementary school teacher, primarily fourth grade, however I have taught from first grade to ninth grade. I provide after school remedial and enrichment instruction for my students, as well as academic or social support at before school, at recess, and lunch strictly on a volunteer basis. Teaching and tutoring are, thankfully for me, the absolutely most enjoyable and rewarding task. I respect an individual's learning process and modality, as well as the challenge to find what finally makes challenging, and even daunting curriculum accessible for each individual.
My qualifications amass from my own struggles in math as a pull out GATE student. My instruction allows me to provide scaffolding, varied explanations and applications, that makes the content accessible for all my students.
Lights, camera, action. An imaginary world is visualised by every student as they begin to transform decoding words into understanding, and using context clues to assign meaning to new vocabulary. I hope my excitement and love of reading, and the value of a strong vocabulary serves as motivation for every child I encounter.
My role in collaboration with my grade level team has been to align academic standards to our curriculum, materials used in instruction, for not only our grade but the grade previous, and subsequent. Common Core has similarly been dissected so that I may help my students meet new goals that have changed.
Through collaboration in grade level teams the teachers in my district have looked at how the requirements in a specific subject area evolve in each grade. This knowledge, as well as the proven teaching methods, I use ensures me that my students develop all necessary skills needed to progress. Teaching students from age 5 to 13 has added greatly to my experience.
Hopefully an adult had the tedious job of reading about my qualifications. Teaching is the most exciting, and quite frankly, the most fun and the coolest job ever, but EVEN I wouldn't have known that by my own writing. Honestly, if you are struggling, or you want to move ahead in a subject, and you want a passionate, dedicated, mostly amusing, and definitely understanding teacher to help you reach whatever your goal might be please don't hesitate to call. I wish you all the success. Please don't let learning become a chore. Hi and welcome. I wish you the best in finding an educational assistant that best serves you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
