I graduated from UC Berkeley back in 2019 and studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences but I also took a large amount of math and statistics classes while I was there. While I was there, I would tutor high school kids on various math subjects like Algebra 1&2, Precalc, Calc and the SAT (my score was 2350, back then they were out of 2400). I’ve also informally taught various friends and my siblings computer science. Coding and machine learning are my passions and would love to help...

Excellent Tutor
We booked Kevin last minute right before my son's midterm. He was amazing and boosted my son's confidence in Python. We'll be using him again and we appreciate his flexibility with scheduling the lesson.

Professional, able to use variety of tools and approaches to access my learning
Kevin is very professional and well-skilled in SQL. It took him a short amount of time to access my need and then to evaluate what tool and approach he should use to guide and instruct me. He delivered his teaching and skills in a very calm, knowledgeable and patient manner. I am booking him for the next day to follow up. I feel so blessed that he had time to help me.

Expert in Python!
We covered a lot in this session. We went over the different ways I could manipulate my data frames using the numpy and pandas libraries in python. He showed me what the differences are between the two as well as how I could visualize the bioinformatics data that I need to analyze for a project. I only need to know python for my bioinformatics class but learning about all the different things I can do with data in a jupyter notebook has inspired me to want to take a programming class.
