About Keigo

I can help out with most things, such as prepping for standardized tests or going over school work at the elementary, middle, or high school level.

A little about myself. I'm in my early 30's. I got upper 90's percentile on the SATs back in my day, and I graduated from Columbia University with a major in Chemical Engineering. I've been through a couple of different jobs working as an engineer, a management consultant, a humanitarian aid worker, a teacher at learning centers, a private tutor, etc.

I've had a lot of experience tutoring high school students with their SAT's, as well as homework help for middle school students. I really enjoy it personally, and have in the past entertained the idea of pursuing a career in teaching. I love helping students get to that "aha" moment, and seeing that inkling of happiness after they realize tests/homework can be a piece of cake.

I like to think of myself as laid back and friendly, but can be strict when needed.
Lemme know if you need help with anything, and good luck with whatever you're studying for.

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Soccer

I've been playing soccer since I was a little kid, and still do now to this day. Just love the sport.

While as a kid, I was with multiple teams, and played throughout the summer, so I have experienced my fair share of coaches and their methods.

I played 3 years at the varsity level in high school. I watch soccer all the time, so I understand the game from a strategic point of view as well.

I am also teaching right now, so I have good communication with kids.
