I am a graduate of West Valley College in Saratoga, CA, and I have received my Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Arts and Humanities, as well as my Associate's Degree in History. I am currently a double major in History and Military History at San Jose State University with ambitions for a Ph.D. I am also a participating cadet of the US Army Reserved Officers Training Corps, where I am learning invaluable skills in regards to time management, study tactics and work quality. As you can see, my knowledge and passion mostly lies within History, of which I have had the joy of teaching among my fellow peers at West Valley. I also possess a strong knowledge of language arts and writing, which has provided me with honor roll since high school, the Presidential Academic Award in 2010 and has put me on the dean's list at West Valley College for notable Literary Writings, as well as being the 2013-2014 Scholarship winner at West Valley. This background in writing and language arts has also given me the opportunity, and the experience, to continuously thrive as a published author for the popular San Francisco magazine, Thought Notebook.
I also have experiences working as a music teacher for a company called Music at Home where I taught sight reading, song writing, guitar and voice. I had tremendous opportunity to teach all ages of all learning capabilities and styles. I also found in teaching Political Science and the Natural Sciences, such as Biology and Anthropology, as they are quite connected to History. I have experience working with children through my continuous, and joyful, employment at the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose, CA.
I am a passionate and interactive tutor and I have never gotten a complaint. I promise that my main job is to teach the student to love the subject, and further understand it. My style of teaching is similar in every subject but the presentation method of teaching the individual subject will vary for the student's benefit.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. Since I am Double Majoring in History and Military History and have made the Dean's list for the knowledge of those subjects, I have a strong knowledge of the historical artifacts uncovered from the pages of history. Archaeology is a very important sub-section of history. Also through my experience being a volunteer tour guide at the Museum of Asian Cultures in San Francisco I can guide and explain the correct story, history and importance of any give archaeological artifact.
Like Biology, Astronomy and the study of the stars is another strong subject of mine. I took Astronomy at West Valley College with great success and for several years I have been taught privately the star constellations, solar system and observable galaxies. I am especially proficient at teaching the history of Astronomy and who were the first men and the greatest people to expand on the subject.
I have played baseball since I was six and I know every rule of the game. I can teach new plays, roles and strategies in the game in order to show any student how to memorize and love the game, whatever their position is on their team.
I have played basketball since I was twelve years old. My first experience was in the YMCA, and then I played at Castillero Middle School. I was played center every year because of my height and I know the positions, the tricks, the rules, and the qualified knowledge of basketball.
I have been raised Christian since I was in preschool. My Father and my church have read word for word scripture that I repeat to others with great satisfaction and knowledge. I have taught others studies of the bible at my previous high school and libraries as a tutor. I believe my experience is qualified for bible studies.
I have been taught to study the world around us since I was a child. I excelled in every Biology class I was in as well as taught people about the environment and what's in it through work volunteer experience with Greenpeace. I have been participating in fitness training since I was a young boy. Not only have I attained fantastic physical results participating in fitness sports like baseball, rugby, basketball, swimming and cross country, I have attained great workout routines and have learned warm up exercises that build the chest, the legs and the stamina. Recently I have been participating in US Army Physical Training which has put my knowledge of exercise, exercise routines and teaching these routines on the highest level possible.

Geography is the first portion of information covered in history to understand resources, territory and legal negotiations and disputes between countries.
