About Kevin

I have experience working at iD Tech Summer Camps, teaching programming skills to children and teens from 7 - 17 years old. I'm well versed in: C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, and Scratch. I have written curriculum for courses ranging from Unity game and app design to basic cryptography and more!

I have a Bachelor's degree in Game Design from the University of Advancing Technology.

My degree gives me an edge, and the knowledge to instruct in both programming and art, with a specific focus in game design tools and engines, such as Minecraft, Unity, Unreal Development Kit, The Creation Kit, and more. If you're looking to learn more about any specific game engine, ask away, I may well know.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Great Tutor!

Kevin did a great job with my 8th grader, helping him to figure out next steps in a programming project he's doing for school. Kevin knows how to work with teens and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
