For the last 3 years, I have taught After School program as a volunteer for K-7 in Photo Journalism and Electronics Arts in an elementary and middle school. In many presentations, I designed and built 2D/3D graphics and animation programs to stress deeper understanding on some projects. Students in upper grades get to build projects ranging from compound microscope to solar dish framing to digital thermometers all using recycled materials from spent disposable cameras to old cell phones. These projects stressed heavy emphasis in science and mathematics.
I spent more time coaching students who have difficulties in optical physics and algebra all required for some projects. These difficulties were resolved by breaking down equations, relating these equations to real-time hands-on projects. A natural algorithm or a step by step process were implemented where natural logic was easily understood. Formulas were simplified by relating part of a project where it applied to its brief history. Some exercises were implemented to show mastery of each subtopics. These enabled one or more students to easily relate formulas and equations to its applications and elevate skill level and proficiency. At the end of each school year, students were far more advanced than they first started of the program.
I have over 20 years extensive experience in the applications of several multiple subjects, based on degree of difficulty (DOF) such as; General Math, Pre-Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Statistics and Probability, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II, & III (Multivariable Calculus), Finite Math, Difference and Differential Equations, Laplace Transform/Fourier Transform (Time/Frequency Domain), General Chemistry, Physics (Acoustics, Electronics, Electrodynamics, Electromagnetics, Optics & Light, Plasma/Fusion, and Quantum Mechanics).

My level experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering from fab less semiconductor, engineering consultancy, defense contracting industries including US Naval training reinforced and solidified my commitment to education and betterment of each individual student. I have a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines.
Great tutor, easy to contact and communicate with
Tutoring with Abe drastically improved my grades in Advanced Statistics. He is very knowledgeable of the application of programs commonly used in statistics such as the IBM SPSS and the G-Power. He provides excellent interpretations of computation outputs from ANOVA, Linear Systems, Power Analysis and many other SPSS systems. Abe has been instrumental in putting me on the path to completing my PhD program on time. He is easy to keep in contact with and communicates in a manner which helps learners grasp complicated research concepts and problems. Thanks, Mary.Mary, 15 lessons with Abraham
This review is from my 15-year-old son, "Abe is knowledgeable and patient in explaining the equations that are challenging to me. I look forward to more sessions with him so I can learn more and understand the lesson better."Siony, 3 lessons with Abraham
My son's rating of Abraham
My son said he liked Abraham and said he was helping him to understand better. I think he needs to hear and see these concepts in multiple ways. He really needs to get his grade up and Abraham is our path to do that. ThanksDiane, 4 lessons with Abraham
Knowledgeable and patient tutor
I was able to prepare for an exam and obtain a good grade with just two weeks of preparation. I was able to relearn past concepts easily as well as easily learn completely new ones in a very short time frame.Bousselham, 9 lessons with Abraham
Thoughtful, Experienced Tutor
My son has had two sessions with Abe. I am impressed by how diligent, thoughtful and patient he is with my son as he works through his first semester of math as a high school sophomore. Outside of the tutoring session Abe works to make sure my son is comfortable with the content by providing additional examples and assigning extra problems for him to practice.Miesha, 2 lessons with Abraham
Patient and consistent
We have had three lessons so far and my daughter finds that Abraham is very patient. He has helped her understand concepts that she has had difficulty in with in her very rigorous Pre calculus honors class.Vijee, 4 lessons with Abraham
Productive problem solving session
Mr Abe did a good job sitting down to solve kinematic problems in physics. This is exactly what my son needed.Anu, 1 lesson with Abraham
Abraham was extremely helpful in helping me fully understand the topic. He is patient and makes sure you fully understand the topic by giving you multiple problems.Jessica, 2 lessons with Abraham
Improvement from Day 1!
My son has only had one session with Abe and already he is feeling more confident in his understanding of calculus. We highly recommend Abe as a tutor for his ability to explain complex math in such a patient manner.Carol Ann, 1 lesson with Abraham
Explains clearly and patiently
My son had a couple of lessons so far and is really happy. Prof. Abe is tasked with getting him ahead with Geometry and Algebra 2 and so far he's managed to make the two subjects easy to understand.Lorenzo, 9 lessons with Abraham
