I have tutored many people over years in various subjects and I enjoy teaching, so long as the student is interested in the subject. Right now I'm only offering tutoring in electrical engineering, namely analog electronics. If you just need some touch up review or you are desperately struggling, I can help you.
If you are struggling, I'm not going to lie: it will take hard work and focus on your part, but I will be there to guide you along the way and after you start to improve you will feel great about yourself and become self motivated to continue. My goal is to help you become proficient in circuits in whatever area your going for.
In order to best help you, please tell me what classes you've taken, or books you've read or maybe you've even built some electronics. Basically, I need to get a sense of what you already know. Thanks and please feel free to send an email for any questions about meeting up. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
Dear Potential Student,
I am a student graduating from the electrical engineering program at San Francisco State University. My niche area that I focused on is analog electronics, meaning everything from resistors to capacitors to op amps to advanced transistor designs(such as the internal 741 schematic). I was in the top percentile of my analog classes, and my senior project was a complete cmos op amp integrated circuit design. If you need help in the broad realm of analog, please feel free to contact me and ask about it. I have tutored a lot of friends in these subjects and I have fun doing so.
There is only one thing that you must be willing to do, and that is work hard and focus. If you can do that, I guarantee that I can help you understand analog concepts more fully and you will excel in any analog courses. Electronics can be very fun and I hope to show you how interesting they can be!
