In my professional career I worked as a Senior Software Engineer. I worked with a team to create complex application systems. I studied Computer Science at UC Davis and received my MBA from UCLA Anderson's School of Management.
In the past, I was a teaching assistant for HTML, CSS, and Java courses at Pioneer High School. I am available to tutor high school and college level computer science courses as well.
My approach to tutoring is very positive, patient and encouraging. I will encourage and push you! During the lessons we spend time working on exactly what you need in order to achieve your goals. Maybe it’s discussing and reviewing key concepts and formulas. Or working though examples together, to sharpen problem-solving strategies. Or preparing and studying for an upcoming quiz or exam. I come extremely prepared so we can optimize our time together during sessions.
In addition to our lessons, I also provide you handouts which contain important notes and formulas, and worksheets with exercises you can practice on your own after the lesson. And you can always message me between lessons with questions and get a quick reply. I'm here to help you!
