Hi, I am Meixian (Priscilla) L. I am currently a graduate student, studying Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Cosmetic Science (M.S.). I graduated with a B.S. in chemistry. I had mentored students in the Math Infinity's math program and worked as a teaching assistant for the chemistry laboratories for two years. For the past years, I have worked with students from public and private high schools and colleges/universities ( University of California, Riverside (UCR), University of La Verne, Cal Poly Pomona, Mt. San Antonio College, Cal State LA, etc.). My aim is to give students the analytical tools to succeed in math and chemistry. Please feel free to e-mail me any questions you may have regarding my tutoring service. I am looking forward to be working with you and good luck on your academic journey. ;)

Meixian has helped me understand confusing concepts and explains things in a way that I understand. She helps me with sample problems and homework, and working with her has really helped me! She is easy to reach and always meets with me when I request help at times and a place that work for me.
Priscilla is very patient. She goes out of her way to prepare visual aids and interactive activities. After a lesson my son said, "She makes it easy to understand."
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I was once an ESL student in high school for a few years, and I became fluent in English speaking, writing, and reading. I graduated from the U.S. high school and university. I also have experience in teaching ESL to high school students for more than a half year. I teach students pronunciation, vocabularies, grammar, and writing.
