From the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Effects and Animation, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design.

I believe we get what we put in life, and throughout my educational and working career, I strived to create art that makes a positive and memorable imprint on others.

While following those principles, I've reached the spotlight with honors on several occasions; Including a top-ranking Academy of Art Unversity Spring show participant, a hand-picked participant for the International Furniture Design Competition (IFCC, New York), featured online by Pixar for their Rustic Cabin Challenge (2019), to recently receiving noteworthy mentions regarding my work from the Polygon Pictures team in Tokyo.

There is no doubt, the world of 3D and visual effects is a fun and exciting industry. As your tutor, my goal is to foster the process of critical thinking while working to enable you to become independent and free to create your masterpieces. I assist students in learning through a more holistic method since 3D artists must understand a variety of different mediums and subjects to achieve competencies.

I offer basic through expert-level tutoring ranging from middle school to working professionals looking to boost your appeal.

Whether you are new to 3D and don't know where to start, or seeking specific techniques to enhance your professional skills, I can walk you through step by step.

You will be able to pick up in-depth knowledge, tips, and tricks that I've picked up over the years through the extensive range of formal education and professional experience I've gained.

My primary focus areas are in 3D modeling, 3D sculpting, texturing, lighting, and compositing.

The designing of appealing graphics is not just about knowing the tools but also very much about understanding the fundamental artistic principles of color, layout, composition, and balance.

Using compositing techniques from 3D renderings in mediums like Autodesk Maya, I teach how to bring it all together. Using industry-standard applications such as Nuke, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere, where we'll learn to add professional touches and appeal. I've been using Autodesk Maya since 2008 as my primary tool for creating 3D assets for film and games. It is one of many tools that unite the pipeline that I use daily. Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop, RenderMan, and Nuke, were the main tools used for a recent Pixar project.
