I completed a significant portion of the coursework for a masters in Electrical Engineering at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Tutoring gives me an opportunity to share my love of learning. I enjoy helping my students expand their intellectual curiosity, and sharing in their excitement as they master new concepts, lessons and other objectives.

For the last nine school years I've tutored with Breakthrough San Francisco, an afterschool program for highly motivated, high potential students from underserved schools. I am well versed in most K-12 subjects including math, science, English, language arts, reading, and history/social studies. This experience has given me proven tools and approaches that support the learning of new material, improve study skills and increase confidence.

Prior to that, through the San Francisco School Volunteers program, I served as a teaching assistant at a San Francisco High School. In addition to supporting the teacher during class lessons and exercises, I tutored students in mathematics and reading, and assisted them in outlining and writing papers. I also taught a seminar on public speaking.

While in college, I tutored for the Mathematics and Computer Science departments, working with students on an individual and group basis. Topics taught included basic math, statistics, probability and calculus as well as computer programming languages, algorithms and data structures. I also worked in the school’s library where my responsibilities included assisting students in developing research strategies and locating the necessary resources.

Whether you need to prepare for a test or quiz, or are working to master a particular concept or course, feel free to contact me with questions or to schedule a session.

Very patient and knowledgeable

Bradley helped me with some issues that I encountered while creating Gantt Chart in Google Spreadsheet. He was very patient and thorough in his explanations, and he addressed all my questions. I definitely recommend Bradley and I will be back with any Excel-related questions. Thank you!

Knowledgable and Sincere Tutor

The best thing about Bradley is that you can see that he geninuely wants to help his students learn not just with him, but help them realize that they have the tools to do so on their own. I'm a recent college graduate that had very minimal Excel experience and needed help preparing for an Excel test for an umpcoming job interview. Obviously you cannot learn everything in an hour nor can I afford several tutoring sessions, especially as a recent college graduate. However, in just one session Bradley not only taught me how to use Excel more efficiently, he taught me how to feel more comfortable exploring its uses and teaching myself on my own. He was even kind enough to send me some Excel practice sheets for me to work on. He gave me an overview of the basics as well as how to use macros. Highly recommend him if you are in need of an Excel tutor! Very nice, patient, and humble tutor!

Really great tutor

Bradley really took the time to make sure our kid understood the material she needed to and was ready to hit the ground running when school started again. I would highly recommend him.

Patient and methodical

My son's geometry teacher this year has done more to confuse him than teach him. It's been difficult to unwind what he's supposed to be learning and what he's supposed to be showing on exams. Bradley has done a terrific job of teaching my son in a patient, straightforward manner, as they both try to make sense of what the teacher is actually expecting.
