Boise State University (Multi-Ethnic Studies)
Hello students! I have taught English as a Second Language for over ten years. I can help you build confidence in your speaking, increase your vocabulary, refine your grammar and sharpen your listening comprehension. My specialty is Business English for students and professionals who want to advance in their careers. My classes are fun as well as educational, and depend to a large part on your input and feedback.
Nobody wants to study language forever. Take the accelerated approach through one-to-one classes, where all of the focus is on your needs. My classes are student centered with an emphasis on spontaneous, natural communication, so that you will feel comfortable and productive while making the best use of your time. I also have a wealth of materials so that you can practice specific language for your area of discipline, whether it is Economics, Management or even Filmmaking (I am a part-time amateur filmmaker as well).
About me: I have a BA degree in Multi-Ethnic Studies and did my teacher training in Barcelona, where I also taught for 9 months. I also taught in Japan for one year before moving to San Francisco in 2004. It has been my great pleasure to work with students from every part of the world, from Norway to Burkina Faso and everywhere between. I also have experience teaching for the iBT TOEFL test if your gaol is to attend a university in the U.S.
$50 is my introductory rate, but that may go up as demand increases. However, I will not change the price once we have made an agreement. We can meet at a quite location in my neighborhood, or I can come to you.
Hope to see you soon! Hello students! I have taught English as a Second Language for over ten years. I can help you build confidence in your speaking, increase your vocabulary, refine your

For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
