I have finished a Master's of Fine Art in animation, which incorporated a heavy emphasis on writing and research. I would love to help with English literature, grammar, and vocabulary test prep!

Great Tutorial! Neil was able to help me get started with Maya, a program that had a tremendous learning curve. Thanks again!
You could struggle with the Maya doc (really bad), needle in the haystack web searches ... or you could just hire Neil to shortcut you to the answer. Totally worth it.
Neil is the perfect tutor! He was on time for the lesson, very knowledgeable and patient. If you are looking for a tutor who will guide you through lessons effortlessly at your pace, then Neil is the right tutor!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have been using Photoshop since 1999 and each new version of the program gives better and better tools. I love learning all the things that Photoshop can do! I have been teaching Photoshop since 2005. I have recently begun to use it as a professional portrait photographer and photo editor as well.
I have an undergraduate degree in Theater Design, and going even further back in time I was an AP English student with a serious love of literature. This love continues to this day, and I have used iBooks to work my way through many many classic novels while riding the train.
The undergraduate degree in theater design and my Master's degree in animation have required me to read many great works and address specific ways to analyze their meanings and study the content of the books.
I have Bachelor's degree in Computer Animation, which I received in 2001. From 2005 to 2013 I taught animation, texturing, lighting, modeling and compositing using Maya.
In 2013 I am completing my Master's degree in Computer Animation. While earning my graduate degree I completed a two and a half minute short created entirely with Maya. In addition, I am a Alias/Wavefront certified Maya character animation.
Vocabulary has long been a strong suit of mine. It may go back to my parents doing crossword puzzles, or it may be linked to my passion for literature. Every time I asked my dad what a word meant he'd say, "let's look it up in the dictionary!" Meanings of words have always stayed with me, which helps when reading Moby Dick or anything by Jane Austen.
