Thank you for considering me as a possible tutor/private teacher for you in ESL, English or TOEFL test preparation.
I am a certified ESL instructor. I obtained a TESOL certificate in March 2010 from LCC. I started out as a volunteer ESL/English teacher with Berkeley Standard in San Francisco in June of 2009, where I taught for 6 months. After becoming certified at LCC in March 2010 I began offering private sessions to international students and professionals in San Francisco. I have been certified to teach beginning level to advanced, young learners to adults, as well as business English and TOEFL test preparation.
I love the students with whom I have worked. I often feel better after our sessions than before the session. I enjoy helping others and particularly in English.
When you and I meet together it is your time and I am there to help you as much as possible in any way I can to reach your goal. When we start out I will give you a chance to tell me what your goal is. I welcome you to tell me exactly on what you want to focus.
Happy learning! Hello Readers,

I travel using public transportation. For lessons outside of San Francisco my fee will include the cost of round trip train and bus fare.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
