Hi! My name is Su, or you can call me Cass. I graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz with two B.A. degrees in Math (gpa 3.89) and Economics (GPA 3.54). I took both AP Calculus AB and BC at the same time during my last year in high school. I scored 5/5 on my AP Calculus BC exam. I started tutoring math since my second year in college. I love the subject and I really enjoy helping others. My goal in each every tutoring session is to help my students to understand math better. Helping my students to become independent learners is my ultimate goal. Please feel free to contract me if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you. Thanks! Hi! Cass helped my daughter raise her overall grade dramatically in just 1 month! More importantly, my daughter's attitude toward her Algebra work is different. Cass patient but firm manner has helped immensely.
very nice person who is very helpful and understands exactly what I need to work on.
You will like this tutor. She's nice, always on time and very attentive to everything you are doing. She explains the material in a very clear and understandable way. Then she pays close attention to your every step; stops you when you go off track, and fills you in with exactly what you needed to know to not just continue but to understand. She is very patient too so you will feel comfortable with her.
I would highly recomend this tutor!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have over 5 years of tutoring experience in algebra.
