WEEKDAY AFTERNOONS and EVENINGS; please contact me anytime, to discuss further details, and find a time slot that works for you. Thanks!
I cover San Francisco (Mon - Fri) as well as San Mateo County (Sat/Sun only)
===========================================================
I earned a Chemistry PhD, as well as a bachelor of Math overseas in Germany, and worked as a researcher for five years, three of those in the USA; among various enjoyable positions other than Science and Math, I worked as an IT (Information Technology) Instructor in Sydney, Australia for several years; in the same country I administered a large eBay Business (built from scratch) with the assistance of a program employing disadvantaged youth. I also worked as a business project manager for a large corporation in Germany for three years.

I continued teaching and tutoring (in small classes, 1-on-1 or 1-on-many, as well as online tutoring via skype) Chemistry and Math subjects since 1995; I have lived in different places worldwide, tutoring/coaching and teaching in Europe, Australia and the USA. I have over 15 years of experience in any Chemistry / Math related tutoring, as well as teaching small and large groups. If you tried tutoring before but didn't get the desired results, I encourage you to try it again - this time you might find it's worth it.

I have mostly taught University/College class level, but also many high school students, and also worked in adult education (in beginning computer science classes). I have many strong references - all recent college students and/or parents of high school students alike, all from the Bay area, where I have taught hundreds of students in the last three years. Most of my students come from referrals from former students.
Also, please take a look at my WyzAnt ratings and feedbacks.

My strengths are pretty much all subjects which have to do with chemistry or math (HW support, thorough test and exam prep, additional practice if needed and so on).

Summary of Areas/Subjects: chemistry - university/college level and level 9-12 high school; general chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, structural chemistry and so on; math high school 9-12: algebra I-II-III, pre-algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus; AP chemistry; SAT subject test chemistry, regular SAT math portions and SAT subject test Math; MCAT, GED math and science sections; ACT math and science sections); this is just some common examples of subjects - if you need help in a certain area, just email me briefly and I'll let you know if I am able to help you properly or not, usually within 24 hours.

I simply enjoy being a teacher/tutor/instructor and educator. If you need help in Math or Chemistry/Science subjects, please just ask me and I will give you an honest response regarding what I can do for you!

I am covering all of SF as well as the northern half of the Peninsula (down to San Mateo/Foster City) for in-person tutoring. The advertised price is valid for one or two students. If you live anywhere else in the country, we can do online tutoring anytime, anywhere; just contact me so we can discuss the options.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have tutored the ACT Math section successfully for many years.
