I am currently a Graduate Student pursuing a Master's of Science in Physics at San Diego State University (SDSU), about half-way through my program. I am also currently employed at SDSU as a Graduate T.A., having taught 8 courses since August of 2019.

I have worked as a private tutor for about 12 years now, beginning during my senior year in high school. Additionally, I have about three years experience working for a professional tutoring agency. Duties included but were not limited to: regularly scheduled academic tutoring, SAT Prep, SAT Subject prep, ACT test prep, AP exam prep, and college entrance exam prep. I also worked as a specialty tutor for young students with learning differences.

Mathematics and Physics are inexorably tied together. I was also a mathematics minor. Most of all, however, I have extensive experience tutoring students over the entire duration of their courses in a range of subjects including: Basic Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus (all levels), Partial Differential Equations, Multivariable (3D calculus, separation of variables, general and particular solutions, gradients, etc).

Graduate Student in Physics, 4.0 GPA. I have taught physics courses, laboratory courses, and tutored students over the entirety of their physics courses (beginning to end midterms and finals, AP Exams, SAT Physics Subject, College Placement). I have extensive experience writing lesson plans in physics; organization of material to be learned, in a sensible order. Can tutor and discuss any level of physics from Intro Physics (college or High School) through to more complex graduate level physics (Electrodynamical theory, classical mechanics, etc). Feel free to contact me, send a copy of whatever problems you are working through. I am always happy to discuss physi

Trigonometry

For a little over a decade I have worked both privately and professionally as a physics and mathematics tutor. Trigonometry is a fundamental skill to have while tutoring all math subjects beyond trigonometry (precalculus, calculus 1, 2, 3, differential equations, physics, etc). Due to this, my ability to teach this topic has been refined over many hours of instruction.

Very Kind and Helpful Tutor

Louis is a very knowledgeable and helpful tutor - he's helped me so much in my general physics 1 lab class on a variety of topics like Kepler's' law, inelastic collisions and torque concepts. He has also helped me with my semester physics paper and designing my semester lab project - which on both assignments I received A's. Louis is overall a wonderful tutor who's able to break down various concepts to make them more understandable - would highly recommend!

Excellent

Louis was excellent! Did a great job of breaking down the problem and ensuring the principles at play were clearly outlined before carrying on. For a subject like calculus, explanation and illustration of the underlying factors is a crucial part to understanding what's actually happening. Louis was/is a very helpful addition to my study plan and I will continue to utilize his expertise in the future!

He was great

He made sense of pre calc! Especially tricky to do with virtual learning! He was very clear and prompt and responsive to my son's needs. My son said this really helped him perform better on his tests
