I am a certified public school teacher in the state of Rhode Island, recently relocated to San Diego to continue my studies as a graduate student. I teach beginner levels of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese, and all levels of French and English. I grew up speaking Italian and English, and lived in Italy during my childhood. When I was in high school I began to learn French, and in university I studied abroad in Paris! When I met my husband, who is a Lusophone (Portuguese speaker)-- I decided it was necessary to learn and have taken multiple university-level Portuguese courses. I speak all languages on a daily basis.

It may not be uncommon for a person to be able to speak many languages, however, it is uncommon for a person to have a strong command of many languages. Language is my passion--I love grammar and literature--and I have worked REALLY hard to attain my levels in these languages. I know how to learn languages, but I also know how to teach them.

Amazing!

Victoria helped my son in one hour with material that he has been confused for weeks in class about. She was so patient and explained things slowly and carefully. I highly recommend Victoria’s services!
