About Jun Ryan

Bio

I've always had a passion for math. I've been tutoring the kids older than me throughout school. I finished Calculus I and II in high school. As a Naval Officer and Nuclear Engineer, I've had the opportunity to apply math throughout my career. Helping students be more comfortable with mathematical concepts is my goal.

I completed Calculus I and II in High School. For one of my Senior classes, I taught Algebra to the Freshmen. I went to College in University of San Diego where I graduated with a degree in Computer Science. The Computer Science and Math departments are actually one department in the college and believe it or not, computer science involves a lot of math. I then joined the Navy under the Nuclear Power training program. I eventually qualified as a Nuclear Engineer by the Department of Energy. Like many engineering studies, nuclear engineering involves a lot of math.

I will work through as many problems as many times as you need until you feel like you've reached understanding. Hopefully, math can be your favorite subject too!
