As an SDSU graduate, my coursework has included Geology, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Statistics. I have a wide range of expertise and a passion for teaching. I currently work as a Substitute Teacher for multiple districts in San Diego County. I am also multilingual; English is my native language, and I have also studied Arabic, Indonesian/Malay, American Sign Language, German, and Mandarin Chinese, all to a Basic or Intermediate conversation level.

Focus, discipline, and motivation are the primary ingredients of success in any field. These qualities must be self-discovered with confidence and determination. Thus, a good tutor is not just a qualified teacher, but also a passionate coach, a reliable guide, and a trustworthy friend. I will not only help with your homework but together, we will discover a passion for the subject and learn from one another with proper etiquette and enthusiasm.

My tutoring approach is to focus the student's thinking to arrive at the desired result in a strategic method. I use a variety of techniques and exercises, tailored to help each student succeed with confidence. I can make my worksheets based on material from the student or based on general needs. I prefer to ask questions that will guide the student towards the solution, rather than providing the answer directly. In this way, the student builds confidence in their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I can coach your student for any test, any subject, or any language, given sufficient time to prepare in advance. I will help you to discover your motivation and to rise above your classmates, colleagues, and coworkers.

My rates are subject to negotiation based on the distance of lesson frequency, and subject matter. I also offer discounted rates for multiple students. I also offer better rates with higher lesson frequencies. You can also tell me whether the student only needs homework help or if you would like me to provide supplementary material to help the student get ahead and stay ahead.
