Writing

Writing

Numerous college students have come to me with "It's due in an hour!" or "I have to turn it in tonight!". No worries, we complete each task successfully and on time. And then we work on organization and essay structure, so there's not a crisis for the next essay assignment, or college application requirement. And I edit personal statements for undergrad and graduate college applications. The key is realizing these essays will require revisions. For the past 12 years, I have been a published writer for several different online and hard copy publications (Learning Express, NOAA, SAIL and Boys' Life Magazine, MacDirectory Magazine, Science Weekly, and Trillium Publishing). Let my experience improve your opportunities!

Amazing. The absolute best!!!

I’m starting from the beginning with finance and Lisa is by far the most patient and kindest tutor I’ve ever worked with. She explains everything in detail and really makes you feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you want. She even sent me material to read after our lesson. She went over and beyond for me, I can’t thank her enough!!!

Really glad to have met Lisa and the lesson was excellent

Lisa gave me an overview of the GIS platforms that could be used for building transportation networks. She is an expert in GIS and could tailor her knowledge to what might be needed in a transport context very quickly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for support in a range of tools - including Google Earth Pro and ArcGIS. She also provided options for future support which I really appreciated. Thank you!

The best CBEST and writing tutor.

Lisa is the best CBEST writing tutor. I highly recommend her to anyone taking this exam or that wants to sharpen their critical thinking and writing skills. I had a difficult time passing the writing section, and tutoring with her changed everything. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and has a great sense of humor. She helped me with improving my writing skills in finding what part of the essay requirements were missing. In our tutoring sessions, we would go over the prompt and my essay, and she would help me edit them and give me feedback I was able to apply to my own study time and exam. If I had any questions or concerns, she responded in a timely manner with explanations and links to different writing resources. I am so glad I had her as my tutor, I am now more confident with my writing and with myself. Thank you so much, Lisa.
