Hi students who wants to learn Korean language and culture!
My name is Yoonjeong. My major for university is computer engineering and I have master’s degree on the same field as well. I came to United States almost 3 years ago to take a few English teaching certifications in University of California, San Diego, because I want to be an English teacher in Korea.
While I’ve stayed in United States, I’ve made some language exchanging meet-up groups to make native friends. Most of members were American who has interests in Korean language and culture. We had regural meeting once a week in the cafe or student’s house to study. I taught them from Korean letters (which is basic level) to daily communication skills.
My tutoring lessons would be arranged as following:
(depends on your reading, writing, listening and speaking Korean level
OR on your demands)
- First step would be checking that if you know Korean letters (10 vowels/ 14 consonants)
- Learning basic vocabulary ( will focus on the most frequently used daily vocabulary first)
- practicing making sentences
Based on my tutoring experience and teaching knowledge, I would love to help and support you to learn Korean.
Most of all, the best way learning foreign language is having FUN.! :)
