UC San Diego (Earth Science)
Hello! I am a first-going-on-second year college student attending UCSD. I received a 2230 on my SAT (self-studied), and scored 5s on both the AP Literature and AP Language tests. I love helping others find easier ways to understand difficult school concepts, and turn reading and writing from a tedious school chore to an easy A. I believe that proper learning and understanding of the SAT subjects is a better and more effective method than spending massive amounts of hours on memorization. Hopefully, you'll learn so much that you won't even need me as a tutor anymore!
I have also taken a 3-course writing sequence this past year, in addition to other AP classes including U.S. History, Calculus, and Physics. Besides improving writing and analytical reading skills, I can also proofread essays (while adding in tips that will improve the overall quality any of your writing).
Since your skills in writing will be useful even in the years after the SAT, why not take some time now to learn how to write properly, and save yourself from any future headaches! Please contact me now to set up a lesson, as I will limit the number of new students after this summer. Hello! I am a first-going-on-second year college student attending UCSD. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
