Defense Information School
My name is Chase. I own and operate Chase Photography currently located in San Diego. I am originally from Houston, Texas where I worked and lived for 26 years before beginning my 5 years career as a very successful photojournalist for the U.S. Navy.
I began my photographic career at a very early age shooting 35mm film from the family camera and my passion never wavered. I began my formal education in photography in high school working as a photographer then editor of the school yearbook for 3 years. I continued shooting in college but received my latest training at the Defense Information School on Ft. Meade in Maryland. I have attended multiple training courses and workshops along the way and I use that knowledge and training to teach others about the love of photography and how to use your equipment to become the photographer you want to be.
I have taught over 200 students, military and civilian to better understand how their cameras and other equipment work and to expand their knowledge of photography to help set them on their path to success.
I work individually with each and every student to determine what kind of photographer you want to be and what kind of photos you want to start taking. I do not have a one lesson for everyone plan. Everyone is different like every photo we take. I have helped hundreds of students to better explore and understand their equipment and hone their passion for our craft and our art. I hope you will contact me to discuss and see if I am the right educator for your photography needs. My name is Chase. I own and operate Chase Photography currently located in San Diego. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
