“**Spur of the moment quiz prep, Lola knows her math!**”

Hi! Thank you for your time and consideration. I'm a Mechanical Engineer (graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts). I was a tutor and instructor all through college and absolutely loved it! Over my four years as a tutor, I worked with over 150 students 1-on-1. As a TA, I held study sessions for over 300 students, and as a

Lola taught my 15 yo Adv Int Math for a quiz that she was not confident about at all! She came back from tutoring session feeling totally comfortable with the subject and ready for the quiz. She really liked Lola, easy to talk to and understand. Thank you!

My son says Lola is easy to understand and she has already helped him with his pre calculus problems. We are so glad we found her!

Lola was very knowledgable, patient and very helpful in helping me prepare for a geometry test. I look forward to continuing to work with her.

I was close to not passing by college business calculus class, and I ended up with an A thanks to Lola. She is able to explain the material very clearly, and is one of the first teachers that was able to make calculus understandable. Not only is she intelligent, but she is timely, helpful, and very sweet.

Our son is doing much better in his math class now. He has more confidence and understand of the concepts and it is showing in his grades.

Very knowledgeable and patient. She recognized quickly as to what I needed to improve upon. I knew from the beginning that she knew the material well, because there were areas we covered during the session that I didn't mention prior to the session. She gave me easy ways to remember equations for physics. She is very good at what she does.

Lola O. is a great tutor and my son had his first lesson in Algebra today. This has been a tough subject for him but now since he is getting the extra help from her he has become excited to learn and is looking forward to his bi-weekly tutoring lessons.

Approved subjects are in **bold**.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I tutored Algebra all through college to both high school and college level students. I love tutoring Algebra I because having a strong foundation in algebra is so important in order to do well in Algebra II and Calculus.

I tutored Calculus all through college to both high school and college level students. I love tutoring Calculus because it is so important for so many following courses, such a Differential Equations. It's also extremely important for many engineering courses, such as Strength of Materials or Thermodynamics.

I tutored Elementary Math all through high school. I love tutoring Elementary math because being comfortable with number and enjoy math is so important for children do to well in all following classes such as Geometry and Algebra.

I was born and raised in France! I speak French fluently and can easily switch back and forth. I enjoying tutoring conversational skills, since when you visit a French-speaking country you'll have to talk to people!

As part of my mechanical engineering curriculum I took Physics I, Physics II, Statics, Dynamics, and Strength of Materials, which are all different aspects of physics. I did well in all these courses and enjoy tutoring them. I particularly enjoy tutoring kinematics, motion, projectile motion, forces, momentum, static equilibrium, pulleys, torque, trusses.

I tutored PreAlgebra since college to both high school and college level students. I love tutoring PreAlgebra because have a strong foundation in Algebra is so important for doing well in all following classes, such as Calculus.

Three of my four grandparents are teachers. As I young child, I would spend every Saturday at their house, doing homework for the upcoming week. As a senior in high school I studied for the french baccalaureate. This exam includes five 4-hour exams

(math, physics, chemistry, biology and french) and five 3-hour exams (history, geography, English, Spanish and philosophy). This exam takes place over the course of one week, with one 4-hour exam every morning and one 3-hour exam every afternoon. I studied for this exams for 6 weeks straight. I passed this exam with honors. After that, I went on and received a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, also with honors. I have been studying my entire life, literally.

As a high school teacher, my job is not only to teach my students the material they need to know, but also give them the skills to study efficiently, which they will need in college.
