Kings College (Biology)
Johns Hopkins University (Master's)
After graduate school at Johns Hopkins University, I taught molecular biology, microbiology, ecology, botany and chemistry at Stevenson University. I spent a lot of time tutoring individual students so that they could reach their highest potential.
Having studied at the premier institute in the world for Biology, I have worked hand in hand with men and women who are the top in their field and I was one of them. There are few things more stimulating to the mind that our constant questioning of each others' theses, looking for holes in the arguments, suggesting better ways to falsify the theory.
By the time I was in second grade, I was reading fifth-grade books. It is my love of reading and my enthusiasm for looking up the exact meaning of every new word that has enabled me to speak and write nearly perfect English. After I finished graduate school, I took a position at the University teaching biology.
Teaching and tutoring is what I most enjoy. Let me know where I can help you in your studies so that the mental fog you now have regarding science, English or finance can become a clear and uncomplicated path of knowledge for you. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
